To obtain a record copy, occupants must pay a fee. First copies of birth records cost $10, with further copies ordered simultaneously costing $5 each in Alger County. Death certificates in Alger County cost $10 for the first copy and $5 for any extra copy purchased at the same time.
NOTE - A set of guidelines need to be followed for Alger County habitants to access records. The office opens from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. In Alger County, some form of photo ID is needed to acquire records. State IDs and driver's licenses will do just fine.
